Deborah Harding is Collection Manager of Anthropology at Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh, PA. She received her Master of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh in 1994.

Harding’s interests focus on textile & basketry technology, North American Indian "fingerweaving," material gathering & processing (e.g. featherwork), beads and beadwork (especially North and South American Indian, and organic materials), and ethnic jewelry & jewelry-making techniques.

Carnegie Museum of Natural History, one of the four Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, is ranked as one of the top five natural history museums in the country. The museum maintains, preserves, and interprets an extraordinary collection of 22 million objects and scientific specimens used to broaden understanding of evolution, conservation, and biodiversity.
