Scheduling a Visit

Please contact the collection manager if you wish to visit the collection. Hours available for a visit are usually 7:00 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon, Monday through Friday.

Loans

Loans are authorized by the curator and explanation for the need to borrow specimens must accompany the formal request. Destructive sampling, such as single feathers or toe pads MUST be authorized by Brad Livezey, and in many cases proof should be sent that the methods to be used, and the researchers’ expertise, are adequate to garner valid data from the specimens.

Holotypes and syntypes will not be lent under any circumstance.
