Ages 6–13 ONLY

Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History offer pre-camp care and post-camp care hours for children ages 6–13 enrolled in camps. Sessions include age-appropriate outdoor activities, games, and library visits—all in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. A light snack is provided at post-camp care.

Registration must be made for the entire week. Pre-camp care and post-camp care are NOT available on a day-to-day basis. To ensure that adequate staffing is available, arrangements for pre-camp care and post-camp care must be made at the time of registration. Limited space is available. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Spaces go quickly, so please register early.

Post-camp care is not available for children in half-day camps. Pre-camp care and post-camp care are not available at Powdermill Nature Reserve.

7:30–9 a.m.
$25/week per child
Campers may arrive any time after 7:30 a.m.
Note: No camps July 4–5. Care is pro-rated 40% to $15 for camps July 1–3.

Post-camp Care
3–6 p.m.
$75/week per child
Note: No camps July 4–5. Care is pro-rated 40% to $45 for camps July 1–3.
Campers may be picked up at any time during this period. A $20 late fee is charged for every 15 minutes past the 6 p.m. pick-up time.

Late Pick-up Policy

Half-day campers are charged $20 for every 15 minutes past pick-up time (11:30 a.m. for morning session, 3:30 p.m. for afternoon session).

Full-day campers who have not been picked up by 3:30 p.m. are considered enrolled in post-camp care. The full weekly post-camp care fee of $75 per child is charged at pick-up.

Powdermill Nature Reserve campers are charged $5 for every 15 minutes past pick-up time (3 p.m.). Pre- and post-camp care are not available.

All late pick-up fees must be paid before the following day or camper will not be permitted to sign in.
