Dear Dr. Avinoff:-

Since my last letter I have called up a trucking concern in New York specializing between New York and Pittsburgh – The North Braddock Motor Lines Company, 82 Rutgers Slip, New York City – who will carry the entire shipment in one truck to Pittsburgh for $108.00 if loaded at the American Museum and unloaded at the Carnegie Museum by museum people. This, I consider, is extremely reasonable.

We know that it would far safer for this rare specimen to be transported by truck, rather than by train, and I urge that it be handled by truck.
