Idaho — my family raised potatoes

B.S. Geology, M.S. Paleontology

How long have you been a preparator?
since 1997

What fieldwork have you done?
Dry Mesa quarry in Western Colorado (including everything from dinosaurs to crocodiles to pterosaurs); Moab, Utah — ankylosaurs (Gastonia)

What’s the hardest part of being a preparator?
giving tours to little kids who know more than I do

Of all the fossils you’ve worked on, what was your favorite?
the skeleton and partial skull of Stegosaurus
