Registration Information

To make a reservation, contact Group Visits at (412) 622-3289 or GroupVisits@CarnegieMuseums.org.

Overnight times are from Friday, 6:30 p.m. to Saturday, 10 a.m. Orientation for the evening begins at 7 p.m. on Friday.

Fee
$35 per person—includes $10 non-refundable deposit due within 30 days of booking. Fee is for all participants, including chaperones, and must be paid in full no later than one month in advance of the overnight. Unpaid reservations may result in cancellation of a program.


No refund of balance will be made for cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the overnight date.

Overnight Adventures include hands-on activities, an evening snack, a continental breakfast, an embroidered patch, and visits to the Natural History Store and Discovery Room in the morning. Some adventures may include a Science on Stage performance, an Earth Theater show, or special guest appearances. Don’t forget to explore the other exhibit areas with your free admission the next day!

General Information
Required Chaperones: 1 adult per 5 children. Minimum age is 5 years old.

Please note: Overnight programs are filling fast! We regret that we cannot accommodate any more large groups for spring 2008. Individuals may still register on a limited basis.

Join the CSI (Carnegie Science Investigation) Team as an Overnight Detective and help us find out who stole the artifacts! Crack the case by utilizing your sleuthing skills.

Night at the Carnegie
Explore the museum at night as you are escorted through an evening of hands-on activities, including a behind-the-scenes look at some of our collections that are not normally on view to the public.

Experience the treasures of Ancient Egypt! Take a virtual tour of an Egyptian temple and create your own replica artifacts to take home as you spend a night along the Nile.
