BS Geology

How long have you been a preparator?
since 1998

What fieldwork have you done?
mammal microfossils in Mississippi and Wyoming; worked with Jack Horner on T. rex in eastern Montana

What’s the hardest part of being a preparator?
frustration when things break

Of all the fossils you’ve worked on, what was your favorite?
putting together the Apatosaurus humerus (leg bone) that an outside researcher broke
