University of Pittsburgh School of Information Sciences Partners Program
Carnegie Museum of Natural History Library participates in the Partners Program administered by the University of Pittsburgh School of Information Sciences. Students in the Partnerís Program are eligible for a partial tuition scholarship and a paid 10 hour per week position at the Museum Library, working on a specific project designed to provide access to the Libraryís archival collections. Field Experience for the University of Pittsburgh School of Information Sciences
Unpaid internships or opportunities to fulfill the University of Pittsburgh School of Information Sciencesí field experience requirement are also possible.

Recent internship projects have included:

Inventory of correspondence of B. Preston Clark, famous for his collection of Sphinx moths, which was given to the Museum in 1939.
Preparation of Finding Guides and Inventories of departmental files, including Birds, Invertebrate Zoology and Mammals
Editing and updating Historical Staff List
Chronological list of Carnegie Museum of Natural History expeditions
Compilation of electronic resources on global climate change
