CM27545 A very rare, colorless, cubic crystal of fluorite with aragonite inclusions from the Nikolaevskiy mine in Dalnegorsk, Russia, 3.5 cm on edge. Fluorite is a common gangue, or waste, mineral of sulfide ore deposits and is used in the manufacture of steel and hydrofluoric acid. This specimen was purchased from North Star Minerals in 1996.
