CM29456 Three large, cubic crystals of galena with minor ruby jack sphalerite from the Picher orefields in the Tri-State District, Oklahoma, 16 cm wide. Galena and sphalerite, both sulfide minerals, are the major ores of lead and zinc, respectively. This specimen was purchased from Western Minerals in 2008.
