Grandparents Receive Free Admission to
Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History during
Grandparents’ Weekend, September 18–19

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania…Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History honor grandparents with special discounts over Grandparents’ Weekend, September 18 and 19, 2010. During Grandparents’ Weekend, one grandparent is admitted free with the purchase of one full-price child or adult admission ticket, thanks to a generous sponsorship from Community LIFE, an organization that helps seniors live independently. Admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors (65+), and $11 for children ages 3–18 and students with valid ID. Members and children under 3 are free.

Grandparents’ Weekend is the perfect way for grandparents and their families to enjoy popular attractions such as the Museum of Art’s Hall of Architecture or the newly reinstalled Ailsa Mellon Bruce Galleries of decorative arts and design, and the Museum of Natural History’s Dinosaurs in Their Time, as well as temporary exhibitions, including:
