Guided Tours

Select one of our guided tours to learn about a specific aspect of our art and natural history collections. These tours are designed with adults in mind but can be adapted for family groups. Please tell us if you have children in your group. Admission to both the Carnegie Museum of Art and the Carnegie Museum of Natural History is included. Choose any tour from the available adult tour topic list

Unguided Groups

Explore Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History at your own pace.

Complimentary Admissions

  • One complimentary admission for groups of 10–20 people.
  • Two complimentary admissions for groups of 21+ people.
  • Personal care aides admitted free.
  • Members free with proof of Membership for Unguided Groups only.

Registration

To receive group pricing, you must have a group of ten or more, and your visit must be scheduled at least four weeks in advance through the Group Visits Office. Smaller groups must pay the group minimum as indicated in the above pricing structure. Member discounts do not apply to guided tours. Changes in attendance must be made at least one week in advance for group to receive a refund. Full payment is due one week prior to visit.

 

When booking your group visit, please have the following information ready:

  • Several potential dates for your visit
  • Arrival and departure times 
  • Number of adults, including group leader(s)
  • Program topic if applicable
  • Requests, such as lunchroom reservations and accessibility needs

Inclement Weather

Should hazardous conditions result in cancellation, announcements will be made on television stations KDKA, WTAE, and WPXI.
