Center for Biodiversity and Ecosystems

Strategic pillar: Research and collections are the core of the museum. Carnegie museum scientists generate knowledge about the natural world through scientific expeditions and studies of our exceptional collection of more than 22 million specimens. Curatorial departments work collaboratively within the Center for Biodiversity and Ecosystems, with other Carnegie Centers, and with external partners to share knowledge and capitalize on research synergies.
