Center for Lifelong Science Learning
Strategic pillar: Research and collections are the core of the museum. Carnegie museum scientists generate knowledge about the natural world through scientific expeditions and studies of our exceptional collection of more than 22 million specimens. Curatorial departments work collaboratively within the Center for Lifelong Science Learning, with other Carnegie Centers, and with external partners to share knowledge and capitalize on research synergies.
Mary Ann Steiner, Director of Learning Research
Mary Ann Steiner works with partners locally, nationally, and globally to investigate how people learn in museums.
