Group Projects for Research, Services, and Facilities Improvement
Invertebrate Zoology at Carnegie Museum of Natural History is involved in a number of group projects for research, services, and improvement of facilities. These are funded from a variety of sources, and several are in collaboration with Carnegie Museum's Botany section and the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy. Some focus on Pennsylvania fauna and flora or involve species which occur in the Commonwealth. Others study systems outside of Pennsylvania or support improvement of facilities for research and the collection at the museum.
