Rea Post-doctoral Fellowship

The Rea Post-doctoral Fellowship is an endowed, annual award that supports research in disciplines of particular expertise at Carnegie Museum of Natural History:
— Anthropology
— Biodiversity Studies & Conservation Biology
— Botany
— Entomology
— Malacology
— Mammalogy
— Vertebrate Paleontology

Applications for this fellowship are currently closed. Applications will not be accepted or retained when an active search is not in progress. Check back for information on the next award period, estimated to be in 2013.

Prior to submitting, applicants are encouraged to discuss the position with individual curatorial staff with whom they intend to work, and to develop a research plan to be included with the application.
— For collection-based research please contact curators in the scientific departments.
— For conservation biology research please contact staff at the Center for Biodiversity and Ecosystems via Powdermill Nature Reserve.

Applicants must possess a PhD and have an interest in pursuing collection and/or field research in the disciplines represented by the curatorial staff of Carnegie Museum of Natural History. The appointment is for one year and may be extended for a second (and final) year upon performance review.
